Yoga Basics

Yoga Basics is a lesson where we work on a strong foundation so we can practice Yoga on and off the mat. The lesson is built on synchronizing the breath (pranayama), the movement (asana) & meditation. Every lesson we will break down the postures and work on aligning the body by using props working on themes like; Happy Hamstrings, Relax & Restore, Backbends & Hart openers, Pranayama etc.

 

Pilates Mat Series

By emphasizing proper breathing, correct spinal and pelvis alignment, concentration on smooth flowing movement you become in tune and aware with your body. You learn how to control your bodies movement. In Pilates the quality of movement is valued over quantity of repetitions. Proper breathing helps you execute movements with maximum power efficiency, by learning to breathe properly you reduce stress. In this lesson we use props to built up the movement.

 

Pilates & Yoga

This class is a fusion between Pilates & Yoga.
Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise based on the principles of Joseph Pilates. Pilates builds strength, it teaches body awareness, good posture, easy & graceful movement, agility and economy of motion. In Yoga, the body, breath and mind are seen as one. Using various techniques of Yoga we cultivate the experience of that union, leading to greater integration of being, internal peacefulness, and clarity. In Yogalates we combine the beauty of Yoga and Pilates and use a floor mat and props. Creating balance between mind, body and breath we want to cultivate health, happiness and a greater sense of self-awareness. 


Slow Flow Yoga

Slow Flow yoga is a fusion of Hatha, Yin & Restorative yoga combined with extended Meditation. Strategies for bringing the tools of Yoga into everyday life are threaded throughout the class. It is a slow, deep, meditative practice that creates a deep stretch of the larger muscle groups and opening in the muscles and connective tissues of the body, as well as the energy body. During the class we will use props for support and through this gentle practice we will stimulate restoring and relaxing the body.


YOPI+

YOPI+is designed for every type of body in any type of condition. Together with a physiotherapist we combine Yoga & Pilates principles and work on body stabilization, flexibility and mobilization, doing all movements in and around the chair. Creating a balance between mind, breath & body and working on the balance between maximum performance and responsible load for the body.
